After the division of the AP in 2014, there were no direct elections happened in Andhra Pradesh. Many bye-elections conducted in Telangana and ruling TRS showed supremacy over other political parties in the state. Results in TG were almost one-sided for TRS. Nandyala bye-election will be held on August 23rd because of sad demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy. This is the first direct election in AP after 2014 general elections. Soon after 12 of it's MLAs joined in ruling TRS, TDP hardly left with no options to the growth in the state. TRS was committed to root out TDP from Telangana.
