Will Congress hit YSRCP hardly in Nandyal?

Political situation in Nandyal seems to appear like this. Nandyal election is going to be litmus test for Indian National Congress party. Don't think this test is not for INC victory but election prove where the party stand in in AP after 2014 general elections. Congress party wants to improve it's strength in % of votes when compared to 2014 General elections. INC got just 1.43% of votes and 2459 number of votes in Nandyal in 2014. Independent got more votes (6091) than Congress candidate in 2014.

Congress is taking care in selecting the candidate for Nandyal election. Party unanimously select Minority candidate Abdul Khader and advocate and general secretary of Indian Trade Union Congress. Muslim minorities were around 45K in Nandyal and highest community in number in the segment. By selecting Abdul Khader as it's nominee, Congress puts check to YSRCP. Muslim minorities backed YSRCP in 2014 because of joining TDP into NDA. Reportedly, YSRCP got 80% of votes in 2014.

Political analysts strongly believed that wouldn't happened in this bye-election. YSRCP soft attitude towards BJP in recent past forced Muslim voters to stay away from YSRCP. Congress party taking this as advantage and made remarks against Jagan. Congress blames Jagan supports BJP for his cases and he may not be the secular politician. This campaign troubles to YSRCP and might split Muslim minority votes that affects YSRCP chances. Congress would be happy if it received 10K votes in Nandyal election.
