Kanna Episode - Distress to AP BJP leaders and Jagan

Political leaders are free birds in any state now-a-days and they can ditch elected party and join any political party as they like. But situation in Andhra Pradesh is something different. Congress leaders like Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Daggupati Purandreswari were joined in BJP before and after 2014 elections. Assuming the ground realty in AP, they have worried on their future now. People in the state were in opinion that BJP cheated them in implementing AP Re-organization Act.

Knowing this in advance, Kanna has decided to change from BJP to YSRCP. Kanna is from strong Community in Coastal Andhra who is totally against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu completely. Reportedly, BJP high command warned Jagan and questioned how Jagan can invite AP BJP leaders? Internally, some of BJP leaders were discussed with Kanna and assured AP President Position to him. BJP has appointed Kanna Lakshmi Narayana its AP President. It seems that Kanna is unwillingly accepts the position.

On other side, YS Jagan who is working hard to come into power in AP leave no stone unturned. Every single Assembly segment is valuable for YSRCP in 2019 elections. In 2014, YSRCP lost many Assembly segments in Coastal Andhra. Now Jagan has intention to strengthen YSRCP in coastal belt by inviting few leaders from BJP. With BJP High Command's warning Jagan not dared to look towards Kanna Lakshmi Narayana. Jagan and AP BJP leaders have no objection to change the party but all of them have feared of BJP High Command.

Rare Collection : Bhuma Nagi Reddy with Sr. NTR

Please check the photo. It was in 1994 after TDP regains power in AP. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Subba Reddy (father of Shobha Nagi Reddy) were met NTR along with their families. Bhuma Nagi Reddy was elected first time to Assembly as TDP candidate from Allagadda in 1992 bye-election. Again he was elected as MLA from same constituency in 1994 as TDP candidate. In 1991, late NTR decided not to field TDP nominee opposite first Telugu Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. In 1996, Chandra Babu Naidu (NTR was died) was selected Bhuma against them Prime Minister PV in Nandhyala. In 1991, PV majority was more than 5 lakhs but in 1996 his massive majority comes down below one lakh. It can only possible to Bhuma. PV retained Barampur in Orissa and resigned for Nandhyala.
