Devender Goud seeks to contest from Medchal!

Tulla Devender Goud who was almost No.2 position in TDP after CBN will be back to active in politics. Devender Goud's Rajya Sabha tenure was completed and he back with normal life after cancer. Two days back he was participated in discussions along with other Telangana TDP leaders to chart out strategy in coming Assembly Elections in Telangana state. Chandrababu Naidu gave lot of importance to Devender Goud and included him in Manifesto Committee and Canvasing Committee.

As per the sources, Devender Goud seeks to contest from Medchal Assembly segment as TDP candidate. Congress has sitting MLA Kichhenareddy Lakshma Reddy in Medchal. If TDP didn't get this segment as part of alliance, Devender will be contest to Lok Sabha from Malkajgiri segment. He is from BC community became ZP Chairman for Ranga Reddy district when NTR was Chief Minister. Later, he was elected three times from Medchal Assembly segment. He worked as Minister in NTR and Chandrababu cabinets.

Devender Goud has lot of hold among BC Communities in Ranga Reddy district. Now he wants to active again in Telangana politics. Virender Goud who is son of Devender was lost his election from Chevella Parliament in 2014 General elections. Reportedly, Virender Goud will be contest from Uppal Assembly segment as TDP candidate. Devender's re-entry in Telangana politics would sure give pleasure to TDP cadre in Telangana.
