Cyclone was usually don't have names. It is just one of the natural calamities that happened in the nature. Cyclones in Indian Ocean is like Hurricane in Atlantic and Typhoon in Pacific Ocean. It's very interesting that every cyclone has it's own name there was a strong reason for that. 8 nations that exist around Indian Ocean have contributed native names for the cyclones that occurred in Indian Ocean.

Hudhud (Oman) was the popular name in AP where city Vizag was lashed out for that cyclone in 2014 October. Later we saw that violent shape of Titli (Pakistan) Cyclone in March this year where Srikakulam was severely affected. Gaja (Srilanka) was stormed TN and Pondicherry in last month. Now Phethai (Thailand) is showing it's new avatar in AP. What is the name of next Cyclone in Indian Ocean? Last Indian name for Cyclone was Sagar which hits Yeman and Somalia in May'18. It's Fani from Bangladesh is the name for next Cyclone. When it will hit might be in 2019.
