Handri Neeva politically shakes YSRCP in Rayalaseema districts

It seems that there was lot of difference between two era's CBN as Chief Minister. He was blamed for the negligence of irrigation in United Andhra Pradesh and lost the election in 2004. People were believed that CBN gave more to Computers than agriculture. The same man is giving more importance as Chief Minister of AP again. Irrigation priorities have changed after the division of the state. CBN used this as oppourtunity to strengthen TDP position across all districts.

Tothapalli in Vizainagram district, Pattiseema in Krishna district and Handri Neeva in Ananthapur now. Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project is the longest water canal project in Rayalaseema. The second phase of this project was completed and release water from Srisailam reservoir. Ministers release the water Jeedipalli reservoir which is the last point of first phase of the project. Farmers happy after flowing Krishna water into Ananthapur district.

One Farmer said "i never believe now that water flowing into Jeedipalli. My age is 60 now. i decided that i never see water through Handri Neeva in my life. CBN made our dreams to realty. Thanks to Chief Minister". Politically Handri-Neeva is boost-up to TDP future in Rayalaseema which is strong hold for YSRCP. Handri-Neeva flows all four districts in Rayalaseema. YSRCP and Congress can't digest and worried on their future.
