Telangana Chief Minister KCR expressed his views on playing key political role and ready to lead against Congress and BJP in Delhi in 2019. He told openly twice in one week. His comments on Third Front (Non-Congress and Non-BJP) raised discussions among the people of Telangana. KCR was successfully diverted the people attention from Congress bus tour with Third Front announcement. But his motive and aspiration is far away from ground realty. On second day KCR said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benarjee made call and said OK to his Third Front. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand too support KCR proposal and later met Rahul Gandhi and make an alliance with Congress. Hindustan Times ruled out on Mamatha's phone call to KCR and mentioned that KCR himself make a call. There are many reasons why KCR's Third Front will be unsuccessful. KCR has plan to contest from Nalgonda in 2019 elections.
1. In Telangana there are 17 Lok Sabha segments. Even if TRS won all 17 MPs in state he need another 200 MPs from other parties to from Third Front Government.
2. In 1996 and 1998 Left Parties were played major role in formation of United Front. Left Parties won around 25 to 30 MP segments along with other regional parties like DMK, TDP, TMC and NC. Congress extended it's support to United Front.
3. All regional political parties have their own agenda in their states. They have neither political enemies with Congress nor BJP. How can KCR would control all them?
Left Parties politically have not so much strong enough when compared to 1996-1998. They lost both West Bengal and Tripura and number of segments would drastically reduced. Without Congress support no Third Front can't success. Let's wait how the people would react with his statement.
