When entire world is in vaccinating campaign, faults and errors of AstraZeneca are emerging. The COVID-19 vaccine was developed by Oxford University and produced by AstraZeneca. Starting from United Kingdom, many countries gave approval to the vaccine in use of emergencies.
Its surprise they showed confident on AstraZeneca even though there is lot of difference in efficacy rate between AstraZeneca and other vaccines. As per the study AstraZeneca still have some complicated issues after completing the first phase of vaccination programme.
It is 20%-30% lower efficacy rate when compared to other vaccines. Oxford trial data showed just 60% efficacy when other reported about 90% of success in their trial data. Some of the Analysts have observed there is a problem in calculating efficacy rate for Oxford’s AstraZeneca. UK has approved Oxford’s vaccine despite low efficacy rate. There is another problem in dosing errors during vaccination trials. Is Oxford hiding the truth from vaccine volunteers? Oxford didn’t reveal that many of its volunteers vaccinated with incorrect dosages.
Oxford did the most of trials on age group of 18 to 55. But above 65 age group people is the most needed group for the pandemic. Knowing this, Germany and France have decided not to use Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine for above 65 years age people in their countries. AstraZeneca first jab cuts Covid transmission substantially which means protection is not reduced in the three months between the first and second dose. Oxford University scientists who developed the vaccine have found that it remains effective against at least one of the new variants of the disease in UK. As per other study, Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID shot less effective against South African variant.
