Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has seen differently in recent past. Rahul is tried to mingle with people as per their nativity. He lost the election from Gandhi family fort of Amedhi and won from Waynad in 2019.
It seems that Rahul Gandhi has concentrated more on Southern States than to North Eastern states during his election campaign. General Elections will be held in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in April and May 2021. He went to Tamil Nadu rural areas and made Tamil Nadu famous Kalaan Biriyani with locals. The photos and videos went viral in social media.
In Kerala, Rahul is doing election campaign with locals. He raised demand for the need of separate Ministry for Fisheries in Kerala state. He has met fishermen and even catching fish along with them. At that time, locals prompt Rahul to swim and decided to take swim with them. Kerala general elections will be triangular fight among UDF, LDF and BJP. Pinaray Vijayan will be tough challenge to both BJP and Congress. His recent victory in municipal elections proved that people agreed that Vijayan government was effectively handled pandemic virus in the state. He is fighting for second term as Chief Minister for Kerala and expects not much anti-incumbency factor.
It is crucial for Rahul now. After he step down as Congress President because of poor performance in 2019 General Elections, Congress party failed even to appoint new President. Senior Congress leaders openly criticized party failures in different states. He showed some improvement in criticizing the BJP government policies in recent past. He gave suggestion to BJP government on coronavirus two months before BJP started working on pandemic virus. On other hand, BJP is going aggressively to reach the goal of “Congress Muktha Bharat” in the country. Will his efforts help Congress to reach the seashore or sink is the question.
