Europe faces multi-fold problems in vaccination to people

After United States, Europe has severely faced the rampage of coronavirus both in reported cases and casualties as well. Except UK, none of the countries responded quickly on procurement of vaccines. 

EU has no prediction while approving the vaccines to people. The nations have paid their attention on Brexit terms and conditions but not on pandemic virus. The result is dearth of vaccination to the people. 27 nations European Union has failed in giving the vaccine like Israel. EU has been slow in rolling out vaccination programme.

EU has around 450 million people and everyone needs two doses which come to 900 million doses. Astrazenca has decided to supply an additional 40 million doses of corona vaccine to the European Union by the March. EU has signed with six companies with total number of doses of 2.3 billion which is the way more than required. But EU nations are able to inoculate just 2 p.c. of its population. EU is facing many woes like shortage of the vaccines and delay in delivering the approved vaccines.

Astrazenca has agreed to supply for the people above 18 years in EU whereas slow in delay of Pfizer’s shipments. People are agitating on fresh lockdown restrictions in many countries of EU. When Israel has completed first dose of the campaign to over 40% of people, EU total is just crossed 2%. Every 100 people in Italy, only 2.6 have received a vaccine dose. The number is 2.4 in Germany; 1.7 in France, 2.9 in Spain, 2.3 in Finland and Switzerland, 2.2 in Austria, 2.0 in Greece, Belgium, Slovakia, Cyprus and Sweden. Denmark has the best performing nation with 3.6 people for 100.
