Four states West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Assam might face general elections in April and May in 2021. Two from South and two from North Eastern part of the nation but political heat will likely to spread across the nation.
Two major political parties have started their political campaign in respective states. Both Congress and BJP take these elections as challenge to show their performance. BJP has found the enemy in these states and continued it’s tirade but Congress has confused in selecting its political foe in West Bengal.
Rahul Gandhi was completed two of his political tours in Tamil Nadu and one each in Kerala and Assam. He has all states that will hold general elections except in West Bengal. After losing Amedhi, Rahul has concentrated his attention completely on Kerala where Left Parties are opponents to Congress. If Rahul shares a stage with Left in West Bengal, it may affect Congress’s standing in Kerala. Congress has very few chances to get seats in West Bengal. As per current scenario, BJP seems to strong opponent to Mamata.
Rahul is likely to attack on BJP when
compared to Mamata in West Bengal. As per the sources, Priyanka Gandhi could
lead the Congress in West Bengal. He intentionally avoids sharing the stage
with Left Parties in West Bengal because of Congress rivalry with Left in
Kerala. Rahul two visits in Tamil Nadu went very well. Videos of his meeting
with laymen in rural areas of Tamil Nadu went viral in social media. DMK is
Congress alliance partner in Tamil Nadu elections.
