Russia has emerged as independent republic after internal disintegration within the USSR in 1991. Communist Russia has changed completely after a KGB Intelligence Officer Vladimir Putin enters into direct politics.
He is serving as President of Russia since 2012 and re-elected for 6 years term which comes to an end by 2024. Now, Russia is Putin’s empire and people are residing in Russia just to live in Putin’s world. Everything is under Putin’s control. Media, Intelligence and companies are just run on behest of Vladimir Putin. His lifestyle is rich, lavish and stylish. No one has comparable with him in the world.
But he is worrying to hear even name of Alexey Navanly who started career as online political commentator. His investigative journalism videos exposed corruption of Putin and get millions of views. That made him to enter into politics. Navanly organized protests against corruption and contested for Mayor of Moscow. He said that he is going to content in next presidential election and confident about his victory. Trouble starts for Navanly after police were arrested him twice and conviction charges of embezzlement and fraud against him. That leads to put ban to content in 2018 Presidential elections. He faced many attacks from opponents and police as well. He was poisoned in prison in 2019.
Alexey Navanly was blamed Putin and Russian Intelligence. Putin was denying the charges and took it in light manner. Navanly was arrested again and imprisoned 3.5 years for breaking the rules to enter into Russia. Navanly said he came to Russia to send message to people that he didn’t afraid of Putin. This time Navanly released video that all about Putin’s seaside palace. The video made Russians to protest against Putin in Moscow streets. They shouted “Putin is thief” during the protests. As per the political analysts Moscow protest is one of the biggest protests in the country after long time. Putin is worry about these protests because of Parliamentary elections nearby. If people voted for constitutional change Putin will remain in power till 2036.
