Europe, United States and Canada are still fighting with pandemic virus when rest of the world seen relief from the virus. The nations are in process to make their vaccine schedule to save their people. Some nations are desperately need vaccines.
Amid of all odds, China reportedly stopped supply of corona vaccines to Canada. Though there is an agreement between two nations in May’20 on supply of vaccine China blocked supply to Canada. This causes increase tensions between two nations.
Chinese vaccine Ad5-nCov has developed in collaboration with Canadian technology was supposed to arrive to Canada. China was not started the final stage tests of the vaccine. Not only this, National Research Council of Canada said that Chinese officials not approved shipments of CanSino’s vaccine to Canada. All these developments are just part China’s retribution against Canada on Huawei’s CFO Meng Wanzhou’s arrest. There are three countries China, United States and Canada have locked in a war for one woman. Multinational companies like Huawei and HSBC are indirectly involved in this war.
Meng Wanzhou who is daughter of Huawei’s cofounder is Chief Financial Officer. Meng Wanzhou was arrested in Canada on a US request over claims she misled HSBC in a 2013 meeting. Huawei has taken the issue to UK court against HSBC. She was come out on bail for $8 million dollar. Meng wants freedom to roam in Canada without security guards. Canadaian government feels that allowing her to roam freely becomes risk to the people. As per the bail restrictions, she would be supervised by security team at her own expenses. She is accused of flouting Covid-19 protocols in Canada. Meng’s detention has severely strained relationship between China and Canada. US wants Meng to approve trial on charges including fraud in HSBC. Huawei takes HSBC to court as it tries to stop extradition. This is reason for China’s revenge on Canada.
