TDP President Chandrababu Naidu went to New Delhi again within a weak to gather support against Narendra Modi for 2019 General Elections. There is nothing special in having meeting with political party leaders like Sarad Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Mayawati, Kejriwal and Farooq Abdullah. During this political tour Chandrababu met AICC President Rahul Gandhi is something that creates sensational among political parties.
Late NTR formed TDP in 1982 in the name of self-respect against tyranny rule of Indira Gandhi in Andhra Pradesh. NTR was very strict in maintaining relations with Congress leaders in the state or in centre. He never even entertained Congress leaders even by attending functions at their houses. As per senior political Analysts, NTR had a meeting with Indira Gandhi once after he gain power from Nadendla Bhaskar Rao episode in 1984. He again discussed with then AICC President Rajiv Gandhi on dissolving the then AP Assembly in 1985 elections. In both these instances Indira and Rajiv were Prime Ministers and AICC Presidents as well.
Chandrababu had talked with then AICC President Sitaram Kesari at the time of United Front convener. Now, CBN met Rahul Gandhi in AICC office to discuss future course of action against BJP. Senior political analysts were remembered the CBN went to AICC Office after 35 years. In early 80's he went to AICC office for lifting the ban against him in Congress. At that time field Kuthuhalamma as ZP Chairman for Chittoor district against to Congress High Command. Congress expels CBN and other for acting against party wishes. No one can expect that such hard-core political rivals would join hands politically.
