Positive response to Lokesh first Idea - Thanks to Hindupur

After stepping into his father cabinet as Panchayat Raj and IT minister, Lokesh working hard for getting his own mark in administration. It seems that he wants to overcome shadow of Chandra Babu Naidu. Lokesh intentionally wants to two Panchayat Raj and Information & Technology portfolios. In the process, Lokesh implements his first idea of supplying drinking water to the people with Jalavani programme. AP government launched Toll Free number 18004251899 for drinking water.

People of the state is suffering huge drinking water problem. Huge number of people using this Jalavani for the said cause. So far 4000 calls received to the Toll Free number. As per the officials, 77% of the people were satisfied with the Toll Free number. Still few officers in lower cadre not responding to the toll free number. As per sources, Lokseh got this idea because of drinking water problem at his father-in-law Balakrishna's constituency Hindupur.

People were suffered drastically in Hindupur for drinking water. Many complaints and agitations take place against Balakrishna and opposition parties criticized hero turned politician for not getting his attention in solving water problem in the segment.Reportedly, Lokesh used this as opportunity to launch Jalavani.
