First ‘U’ Turn by Jagan!

Jagan didn’t take charge as new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. On May 30th, Jagan is going to take oath at Vijayawada.
He met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on courtesy and talked to media. He openly said that Special Category Status is very difficult in present scenario when BJP won more than 300 Lok Sabha MPs. If BJP won 250 that forced BJP to take guarantee from them on Special Category Status for AP.

If we remember his election campaign two months back, Jagan said that he will brought Special Category Status to AP if people gave 25 MP seats. He also said that KCR too agreed on Special Category Status to AP. Now he just changed his tune 4 days after election results announced. It seems that Special Category Status forced to put in cold storage once again. The same Jagan addressed the public that AP would get incentives for industrial growth in the state if there AP has granted Special Category Status.

YSRCP attacked CBN and TDP when CBN has agreed to take special package instead of Special Category Status. YSRCP leaders blame that CBN took U-Turn. Reportedly, TDP has intention to maintain silent for some time on Jagan’s U-turn. We will see how Congress, Left Parties and other NGOs respond on Jagan’s new statement on Special Category Status.
