Jagan decided to open Pattiseema Gates Finally!

Pattiseema is brain child of Chandrababu Naidu. The idea of lifting of Godavari water and diverted towards Krishna to make fertile the lands across the Krishna Delta.

Farmers welcome this idea and CBN government did this successfully since last 4 years. But people rejected CBN in all constituencies that Pattiseema flow in recent elections. That’s different issue. KCR is also praised Pattiseema in Telangana Assembly. Then Opposition leader of AP Assembly YS Jagan openly opposed Pattiseema lift irrigation project in house.

His main objection was that there was huge corruption takes place in the construction of Pattiseema Project. His argument was baseless at the time of discussion on this subject in the assembly. Why Pattiseema need for AP when Polavaram is there? Anyway, YSRCP was boycotted assembly twice and opposed Pattiseema project on a whole. Though Jagan knows the benefit of Pattiseema but successfully diverted the issue at the time of election.

Now, there is doubt among the farmers across the Krishna delta. Like demolition of Praja Vedika in the name of corruption, can Jagan demolished Pattiseema? Soon after taking the charge as CM, he did reviews on CBN decisions and trying to fix CBN as culprit before the people. As per buzz, YSRCP govt has decided to release the water from Pattiseema to Krishna delta. TDP govt was made this announcement before the media. But YSRCP govt has released the water without any gala. There was no confirmation on the news how many gates are opened. Krishna Delta Farmers are happy with this news.

Please check the photo. It was in 1994 after TDP regains power in AP. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Subba Reddy (father of Shobha Nagi Reddy) were met NTR along with their families. Bhuma Nagi Reddy was elected first time to Assembly as TDP candidate from Allagadda in 1992 bye-election. Again he was elected as MLA from same constituency in 1994 as TDP candidate. In 1991, late NTR decided not to field TDP nominee opposite first Telugu Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. In 1996, Chandra Babu Naidu (NTR was died) was selected Bhuma against them Prime Minister PV in Nandhyala. In 1991, PV majority was more than 5 lakhs but in 1996 his massive majority comes down below one lakh. It can only possible to Bhuma. PV retained Barampur in Orissa and resigned for Nandhyala.
