Power Cuts in Rainy Season in AP!


After unavailability of sand to work, people in Andhra Pradesh is facing one more problem which affects directly is Power Cuts. Even we are in rainy season, Power Cuts are inevitable. 
People are experienced prior 2014 situation on Power Cuts in AP. There are two reasons for getting the situation. YS Jagan one sided argument on PPAs during TDP Government and YSRCP Government not followed the new policy of Union Government effect from August 01st.

Right from the beginning, YS Jagan has concentrated to review PPAs signed at TDP government. Jagan decision creates tremble both in India and outside. BJP government and NTPC suggested Jagan not to review the PPAs. Japan Government wrote letter to Indian Government against review of PPAs. Finally! High Court squashed government interference on PPAs and ordered state government to pay pending bills to Discoms and buy the Power from the Discoms. YSRCP government has agreed not to review previous PPAs but delay in making payments to Private Discoms. Because of that reason Discoms implemented power cuts in rural areas for 3 hours in state.

Union Govt ordered State Government to issue LOC (Letter Of Credit) 45 days before to Power Generated Companies to purchase Power.  So that Power companies can convert them into cash. But YSRCP government not followed new rule. AP Government issued LOC to NTPC and ignored other Private Companies. Power Exchange has blacklisted AP government for not following the rules properly. Now, AP government has not allowed purchasing power from other states. AP has sufficient power in hand but going against to guidelines causes the grim situation. People in three districts of Northern Andhra are facing 3 hrs power cuts in day and 5 hours on Saturday. Villagers in Kurnool district are raided Sub-stations for irrelevant power cuts. In rainy season, people are experiencing Power Cuts it is very difficult to imagine power situation in coming Summer Season.

Producers demand 18 crores for Ceded for Pavan and Trivikram film

Director Rajamouli showed the path to all other producers on how to sell product (movie) in different ways across the word. Telugu Cinema has vertically divided in two ways Before and after Bahubali. Bahubali proves that there were no boundaries in selling the movie. Other producers who are doing with star heros like Pavan, Mahesh and Jr. NTR will follow Rajamouli in this regard. But there is slight difference with Bahubali and other heros films. Unfortunately, producers and distributors fail to notice the gap.
