Unfortunately, Nandamuri Balakrishna
is always in news for not good reasons in media. Like a famous dialogue in his
movie, Balayya has another angle that doesn’t know much about other people.
Balayya
was cancelled shooting of his on-going film and remains with Kodela corpus soon
after his death till the completion of his tearful farewell. People and cadre
were surprised to see Balayya’s emotional and bonded relationship with Doctor
Kodela.
Kodela Siva Prasad is the first
person to share his intelligence when late NTR was decided to construct Cancer
Hospital in the name of his wife. The purpose of this hospital is to diagnose cancer
treatment with poor and middle class people. Kodela worked hard for the
development of Basavatarakam Cancer Institute when he was Chairman between the periods
from 2000 to 2009. At that time Balayya was busy in films. Kodela worked for
the hospital and raise funds even he lost the election in 2004 and 2009
respectively. He handed over the Chairman to Balayya with increasing the number
of beds from 50 to 400 in cancer Hospital.
Balayya is the Chairman for Cancer
Institute since 2009. Even then Kodela extended help for the development of the
Hospital. In particular, Kodela relationships with NRI friends added advantage
for raising the funds. Balayya has invited Kodela for any inauguration of new
medical equipment and take his suggestions. Director Boyapati said in one
interview that Kodela has inspired for the movie “Simha”. Balayya is the center
of attraction during Kodela’s last rites in Narsaraopet.
