TDP Membership drive: YSR Kadapa Record

After extending deadlines twice, TDP membership reached above 60 lakhs in two Telugu States. Two years back membership around 50 lakhs. This time party cadre worked hard for increasing membership in four Rayalaseema districts. There was no surprise that Ananthapur district is top among them which was strong hold to TDP since it's inception. But every one surprised the response that received from Kadapa district which was like home turf to YSR family.

TDP was registered 62% increase among membership in Kadapa district when compared to last time. In 2014-16 the membership were 2.5 lakhs this was increased to 4 lakhs in latest drive. Jammalamadugu is first Segment out of them in Kadapa district. In 2014 general elections, YSRCP had won 9 Assembly segments out of 10 in district. TDP was satisfied with Rajampet. After taking charge as CM, CBN was paid more attention on Kadapa district.

Leaders like CM Ramesh, Srinivasula Reddy and Satish Reddy worked together and attracted YSRCP third layer cadre and gave strong resistance to YSRCP. Bringing water to Gandiota canal is great achievement in Kadapa. Farmers were happy with the development. TDP seeks to capture MLC election which will be scheduled in March 2017. YSRCP was selected YS Vivekananda Reddy as it's nominee where as TDP chooses B.Tech Ravi. It will be disgraceful for YS Jagan if his uncle lost the election.

TRS and BJP Friendship - MIM is silent!
