Telangana Chilli farmers rushed to Guntur but ignored Warangal

Reason is obviously known to all. Mirchi cultivation was high in this year in two states. Mirchi farmers suffered with losses because of not having support price to sell in Two Telugu states. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has implemented new scheme called "Chandranna Rayeeti" to support mirchi farmers in the state. AP Government offered 1500/- additional to the existing price per quintal to the farmers. In addition to that, CBN was reviewed the situation and made an enquiry with officials how this scheme implemented.

This reduced the problems to Chilli farmers in Andhra Pradesh and they felt happy on AP Government policies. Knwoing the Chandranna Rayeeti, farmers from surrounding states like Telangana, Tamilnaadu and Maharashtra rushed towards Guntur market yard for selling their product. In particular, farmers from Nalgonda, Khammam and Mahabubnagar districts have plan to send their product to Guntur. Warangal market yard was the largest one in Telangana. Farmers in Telangana prefer to go Guntur instead of Warangal. This causes heavy traffic jam Guntur-Ongole-Hyderabad highway.

On other hand, Tegangana mirchi farmer got angry and ignite fire for his product. Farmers agitation in Khammam market yard gone haywire. They destroyed the furniture in Chairman's house for not getting minimum support price for mirchi. Some of the farmers compared price with Andhra Pradesh. They demand subsidy for mirchi as like in Andhra Pradesh. AP Government allowed Telangana farmers to Guntur market yard and gave the same subsidy to Telangana farmers. That's the reason Telangana chilli farmers prefer to go Guntur and ignored Warangal
