YSRCP bought power by paying highest rate per unit!

Power cuts in the rural villages are frequent in Andhra Pradesh. Pressure is on AP Transco to set right power problems of the people. AP doesn’t have power cuts much during CBN era.
Because of his experience in the subject and then Union Government included AP in “Uday” project, people used to enjoy the Power in AP. By the end of May’19, AP turned to be surplus state in the country. YS Jagan has concentrated on PPAs after came into power but not on demand and supply of Power in AP.

AP Transco MD Srikanth said in an interview that state can use 50% of the production even AP has Simhadri Power plat as per the Reorganization Act. He said that government has decided to buy power 11.68 per unit from Karnataka as temporary basis to overcome the problems. Jagan has repeatedly saying that TDP government bought power 6/- per unit and lot of kickbacks takes place in PPAs. Now, YSRCP government decided to bout power 11.68/- per unit. This is the first time that Government spending 11.68/- per unit in AP for power.

What Jagan has objected in PPAs during TDP and what he is implementing on PPAs now? Jagan has become first as CM what about the officials. They know everything about the power. Aren’t they properly directed the YSRCP government on Power? Haven’t they observed that stocks of Coal are depleted in advance? On a whole both officers and government failed in handling the power sector and pushed the state into darkness. People fear the situation in summer in the state.
