YSRCP government took a key political decision. It decided to form
Special Investigation Team (SIT) on allegations in TDP era. SIT would enquire
on all key decisions taken by CBN government. As per GO issued by government,
IPS Officer Kolli Raghurami Reddy lead 10 member SIT Team. SIT is mainly
concentrated on Insider trading, Binami transactions and changes on CRDA
limits. No one surprised with YSRCP government’s decision including TDP
leaders. YSRCP blamed many allegations on TDP even when the party was in
opposition. The trend of allegations continued even after YSRCP came into
power. People have doubts how long YSRCP continued with allegations without
taking actions against CBN.
YS Jagan formed Cabinet Sub-Committee lead by Finance Minister
Buggana Rajender Reddy after he becomes Chief Minister of the state. At that
time, Sub-Committee vowed to probe irregularities in Amaravati and Polavaram
within 100 days. It took always more than 9 months but no one knows what
sub-committee mentioned in its report. YSRCP leaders gave video presentation on
that around 4K acres fall under insider trading in Amaravati but they mentioned
400 acres with the names of TDP leaders and silent on remaining 3.6K acres. CID
filed cases on Narayana and Pulla Rao and framed the charges against them in
insider-trading. IT raids on CBN PS home was the last attempt that
YSRCP
leaders throw mud on CBN but their entire attempt failed after IT released the
statement.
It seems that YSRCP government used last resort to put CBN in
corner by forming SIT. CBN faced many allegations till he joined in TDP since
1985. So far 26 inquiries against Chandrababu, 14 House Committees, 4 Judicial
enquiries, 3 Cabinet Sub committees and one CBCID investigation during Congress
government. But all these investigations failed to prove allegations against
CBN. Coming to PILs, Congress leaders filed many PILs in courts against CBN. If
YSRCP government can’t prove CBN as guilty with proofs people can’t listen
blunt allegations against CBN. Jagan is going to miss the golden opportunity
with people’s Okka Chance by revenge politics.
