RRR area-wise business ever after in Tollywood!

Tollywood’s much awaited movie ‘RRR’ has postponed to 2021 Pongal from July 30, 2020. It is expected delay from the director Rajamouli who is known for re shooting the scenes again if he was not satisfied.

NTR sacrificed two years without having any release whereas Ramcharan don’t have any release in 2020. Pre-release business also touches new heights in Tollywood for RRR. Rajamouli’s BB-2 is the land mark in collections for any new venture.

Reportedly, BB-2 was collected around 200 crores which is highest grosser in Telugu. After that no Telugu picture failed to come nearer to BB-2. RRR has completed record pre-business in Two Telugu States and Karnataka. Nizam sold out for 75 crores, Ceded for 40 crores, Uttarandhra is for 30 crores. Krishna rights sold out from 15 crores, Guntur for 20 crores, East and West rights for 18 and 15 crores respectively. Nellore is sold for 10 crores. Even BB=2 also didn’t collect in any area for what RRR sold.

There are many situations where producers lead for dharna before producer’s house once after the film was failure. Buyers have showed interest by seeing the combination and ready to buy the movie for fancy rates. They fall into troubles once after the movie turns to disaster. Producers of other films have not dared to come for 2021 Pongal. Rajamouli and Producer DVV Danaiah are confident on no competition and rates increase in two states to get block-buster openings during first two weeks of Pongal Season. Even the movie ‘RRR’ turned to Block-buster buyers haven’t guaranteed on their investments.
