Nation is burning Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) like
anything since December’19. Protests and Agitations occurred in all major
cities in North India and in Bangalore against CAA.
In Telangana, ruling TRS voted against Citizenship Amendment
Bill (CAB) at the voting in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. As per latest
development, Telangana Chief Minister KCR has decided to go against CAA in
Assembly. KCR wants to pass the resolution against CAA. He wouldn’t have much
resistance from opposition in the house. Both MIM and Congress will support whereas
BJP has lone member in the house couldn’t stop the bill. It is the needy
situation of KCR because Telangana has 12% Muslim Population in the state that
matters in any direct election.
In AP, the situation is different from Telangana. AP has
just 4% of Muslim population which supports YS Jagan both in 2014 and 2019
general elections. YSRCP has changed after it came into power in AP. YSRCP MPs
voted for CAB in two houses and gave statements in State against CAA. Adding to
that, YSRCP showed interest to join in NDA which will become shocker to Muslim
Community. In the name of development of the state or for personal interests,
YSRCP is trying to mingle with BJP. Minister Anil Kumar Yadav faced the wrath
of Muslim population in Nellore. TDP MP challenges YS Jagan to pass the
resolution in the Assembly against CAA while addressing in Kadapa.
