Panchayat Elections in January in AP!

Pongal is very important festival for the people of Andhra Pradesh. It resembles customs and traditions of Telugu people. New movies and Cock fights are center of the attraction for any Pongal in AP. As usual, three new movies will go to release for Ponagl 2020.
The tenure for the Elections for local bodies in AP was completed. It is inevitable for State election commission to conduct elections for local bodies in the state. AP Government gave green signal for Panchayat Elections in AP in the month of January.

Panchayat elections for Pongal in the state increase political heat between YSRCP and TDP. AP State Election Commission is ready with Ballot Papers by the end of December 15th. It will release the list of Reservations for all Panchayats by January 10th. Election Code comes into effective from January 11th. Unlike Telangana, AP State Election Commission would clear all legal hurdles to the Reservations for local body elections. Election Commission decided WHITE Paper for Ward Member and BLUE for Sarpanch.

These elections are important to both ruling and opposition. TDP wants to show its bounce back after miserable defeat in 2019 General Elections whereas YSRCP wants to sustain the winning trend in local bodies too. YSRCP is confident in winning the Panchayat Elections because of series of welfare schemes announced and government intention to implement Navaratnas. TDP feel that people are fed up with YSRCP 6 months ruling and faced severe issues like Sand, stopping of development works in the state and so on. The fight between two parties would almost like General Elections.
