The Corona epidemic
has been raging around the world for the past two years. Many people died of
corona infection. The first, two waves spread, and now the third wave
continues. It's also at the end. No major cases were reported in this wave.
People are breathing down their necks as the number of corona positive cases is
declining day by day. Along with the coronavirus come newer variants that are
causing more concern. After the dangerous Delta variant, the South African
variant Omicron became more of a concern. This omicron spreads faster than the
delta variant.
However, the researchers concluded that there was no major risk. Now the World Health Organization (WHO) is raising another warning concern. Warns that the next coming variant will be dangerous. WHO indicates that the new wave is likely to spread further. The WHO believes that the current variant needs to be tightened more than the current variant. The question arises as to what effect it will have with future variants. To restrict coronavirus, the countries vaccinated on a large scale around the world. Although it is thought that the corona outbreak may not be as large as that caused by the vaccine, the virus is not resistant to these vaccines.
Those who have been vaccinated with two doses of the virus have also been exposed to the virus in the Third Wave. The WHO says Omicron is not the last variant and that viruses are likely to emerge in the future. It made clear that viruses that light up in the future have the potential to spread further. The WHO recommends that imposing corona rules should be followed in advance to avoid future variants. WHO set a 70% vaccination target in each and every country by June this year. All countries reported a sharp surge in infections except Africa Region, which in fact showed an 11% drop in omicron cases.
