What will happen if there is no crude oil from Russia?

There are nearly Seventy million barrels of crude oil that Russia regularly exports to many countries around the world. As per OPEC Secretary-General, no country has the power to fill the gap if countries ban Russian oil products. Russia is the third-largest oil exporter after the United States and Saudi Arabia. These three countries have the capacity to produce more than a billion barrels of crude oil per day. The major importers of oil from that country are the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Among them, the US has already imposed a complete ban on imports of oil and other products from Russia.

The UK has decided to phase out Russian imports by the end of this year. Also, the European Union (EU) has decided to reduce oil imports from Russia by two-thirds. OPEC has expressed concern that the world could not supply that level of power if the EU imposed sanctions on Russia's oil imports along the lines of the United States. Given how many countries depend on Russia's oil imports, his statement must be accepted. In order to quench the oil thirst of those countries, all the other oil-producing countries except Russia together have to produce an average of 32 lakh barrels of crude oil per day.

Without Russia's oil and natural gas, most European countries would not be survived. According to International Energy Agency (IEA) figures, the United States produces an average of 1.76 billion barrels of crude a day, while Saudi Arabia produces 1.2 billion barrels and Russia 1.13 million barrels. When it comes to exports, Russia is the second-largest crude oil exporter in the world after Saudi. Most of Russia's oil exports go to Europe. If Russia cuts off oil and natural gas supplies to those countries, those countries will be severely affected. At present no country has the capacity to meet the requirements of the EU. That is why those countries did not join Russia in banning oil from the United States.
