ET worries Jagan impact on Maharashtra!

There were many times National Media (Print and Electronic) was highlighted flaws of 6 months governance of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Starting from demolition of Prajavedika till the name change to YSR from existing APJ Abdul Kalam for Merit Students, National Media has questioned Jagan’s policy decisions. This is very unprecedented situation for YSRCP which has received good feedback from National Media before 2019 General Elections.

Another reason for giving importance to AP affairs is the silent of local Telugu Media. Well-known business daily Economic Times wrote an article on new Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackarey. In that article, ET quoted Jagan name twice and suggested Chief Minister of Maharashtra not to follow YS Jagan style of economic policies. ‘Uddhav Thackarey, don’t follow Jagan’s lead’ it mentioned in subtitle of the article.  Cutting of Aarey Forests is one of the reasons for BJP less performance in Mumbai city. Then CM Fadnavis took decision to cut down the Aarey Forests to make clear for Metro Construction Works.

The decision created lot of uproar among the people. Economic Times Uddhav to go ahead of BJP’s decision and don’t take review on Aarey. It said that Japanese International Cooperation Agency invests 1.08 lakh crore on Mumbai and Ahamadabad connectivity. If Uddhav goes against Fadnavis it will affect India’s reputation globally among Foreign Investors. ET mentioned that Jagan is halting everything what CBN proposed in Andhra Pradesh which has already hurt many Foreign Investors. By this way, ET exposed Jagan’s economic policies in its editorial.
