RK and Sridevi missed!

Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy and Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi are in soup with protests and agitation in CRDA villages. Farmers are doing protests since last 7 days against Jagan’s decision of 3 capitals for Andhra Pradesh instead of Amaravati. 

People gave complaint against Alla that their MLA has disappeared in Mangalagiri Police Station. Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has played role of litigant in addition to his MLA candidature. He used to spend most of the time in filing Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against TDP government and Chandrababu Naidu. Alla was actively involved in filing PILs for different reasons after CBN announced Amaravati as new capital. Alla was openly forced the farmers in some villages not to give their land to Government on land pooling. Alla had promised to farmers that Jagan would back to give their lands once after YSRCP came into power.

He wrote letter to Green Tribunal to stop the Amaravati. He filed petition on Sadavarthi lands auction and filed petition against CBN in note-for-vote case. But none of his petitions got succeed in any courts. All of his petitions were squashed by courts. Being an YSRCP MLA, Alla was played very crucial role when the party in opposition. He gave trouble to CBN government with his legal mind. In 2019 elections, RK won again from Mangalagiri over Nara Lokesh with a margin of 5K votes. Expected RK into Jagan’s cabinet as per Jagan’s promise during the election but it was turned down later. RK attitude has changed after YSRCP came into power.

Unlike earlier, he didn’t take any visit in CRDA region. He was appeared when floods are come to River Krishna in Prakasam Barrage. Alla was monitored whether CBN house submerged with water or at the time of floods. He openly took oath that YSRCP government would evacuate CBN from CRDA region. Both Mangalagiri and Tadikonda MLAs haven’t appeared after agitation started in CRDA region. People asked why MLAs are silent when the agitation increased on each passing day. They remembered RK statement for getting more assurance to the farmers from YSRCP government. They demand resignation of the MLAs when they didn’t fulfill their requirements. Protestors raised slogans against YSRCP government and its MLAs. We will see how two MLAs have respond to the agitation for AP Capital?
