Coronavirus takes a new form. The countries of the world are trading the new coronavirus variant. The rapidly spreading B.1.1.529 variant is causing palpitations. The WHO named it Omicron. Several countries have announced bans on air services from affected African countries. The new variant of Covid (B.1.1529) that was born in South Africa is causing tremors in the backs of the nations of the world. Countries in the European Union (EU) are becoming more and more alarmed by the rising number of cases ahead of winter. The EU is in talks with its member states to suspend flights from 11 countries in southern Africa, including South Africa and Namibia. Germany wants to implement it.
Airlines make it clear that they only bring their nationals from South Africa, and those who come from there must be on quarantine for 14 days, whether they are vaccinated or not. Italy bans people from 7 African countries from entering their country for 14 days Britain, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Israel have announced precautionary bans on flights to South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Lesotho. The UK claims that this variant is the most dangerous they have ever seen. The US, UK, and the EU have started to impose travel restrictions on South Africa and neighboring countries. The scientists say is a concern because of its high number of mutations and rapid spread among young people.
