#GobackModi is no longer aggressive campaign in Tamil Nadu


Edapaddi K. Palaniswami has never thought that he become Chief Minister for Tamil Nadu even in his dreams. Jayalalitha’s sad demise, Sasikala locked into prison and BJP involvement made him as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. 
Six months back ADMK rout out in all Parliamentary segments and won just Theni segment whereas DMK and its allies won 38 MPs. UPA captured more than 97% of MP seats in General Elections. Assuming the result of General Elections, the result in local body elections is similar but DMK failed to repeat the General Elections magic.

Traditional vote bank in ADMK strong districts shifted to DMK in General Elections. The strong cadre based DMK underestimated Chief Minister EPS before local body election result. As per latest trends available DMK has lead but ADMK has improved its performance compared with General Elections. In most of the districts, neck and neck fight happens between ADMK and DMK. It is surprised that ruling ADMK gave good fight without having its charismatic leader Jayalalitha. As per buzz, EPS is doing some good governance as CM and showed Amma photo in front of the voters.

Jallikattu controversy made Prime Minister Modi is against to Tamil Nadu and involvement into TN affairs after Jayalalitha made him as villain to the state. Whenever Modi has planned to visit since 4 years, hash tag #Gobackmodi trend among all Social Media. In this election, BJP improved its performance as ADMK ally and won 6 District Panchayats. Are Tamil people changed their opinion on BJP? It seems that BJP starts Baby steps as political party in strong Dravidian state like Tamil Nadu.
