In August this year, people saw Armed
Police march in Jammu & Kashmir after the scrapping of Article 370 through media
channels. The same situation is seen here in Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati.
As usual, opposition party in
particular TDP is lead the agitation and demand to keep the AP capital remain
in Amaravati. Every day protest takes place in any one of the villages in CRDA.
Mandadam and Uddandrayunipalem are core villages for the agitation. Amaravati
JAC called for National High-Way seizes which was tremendous success. Though
police arrested TDP and other JAC leaders in advance, people rushed towards
National Highway 16 from bypass roads and obstructed the traffic either sides.
YSRCP government didn’t take any initiative to resolve the issue amicably.
Adding to that, YSRCP leader’s filthy and vulgar comments hurt the farmers and
made them unite for continuing the agitation.
144 section is inevitable among all
villages in Amaravati. It seems the section is extending further in some parts
of Vijayawada and Guntur cities. On Friday, women in villages wish to pray from
villages to Kanakadurgamma temple. Police were march the villages from morning
it’self and not allowed women to go to Temple. Women have quarrel with Police
and later did lathi charge on women. Some videos and photos are going viral
across the social media. Women are requested police by touching the feet not to
beat them. It is very sad and pathetic to see the farmers who sacrificed their
lands for AP Capital.
