Pongal Panchayati at Dil Raaju!

Now-a-days, Release date for Star Hero movies were announced at the time of opening ceremony. Even though they have star status, producers announce the dates having one holiday in first week.

Pongal, Dussera and summer seasons are hot for Telugu Producers to mint money at Box-Office. Three direct movies along with dubbing movie are going to release for this Pongal. Mahesh’s Sarileruneekevvaru on January 11^th, Allu Arjun Alavaikuntapuram on 12^th and Kalyan Ram’s Enthamanchivadavura on 15^th would release respectively.

Producers and Directors have known insider information of other Movies that keep their strategies change accordingly. Radha Krishna, producer of Alavaikuntapuram wants to come one day before (January 11^th) of previous release date. That causes irksome to Mahesh Babu Producer Anil Sunkara who already fixed January 11^th as his date in calendar. Issue forward before Dil Raaju for settlement as mediator who doesn’t have any release for this pongal. After involving with two producers, Dil Raju convinced Radha Krishna to release his film on January 12^th.

Now it is not first time for Mega Camp to change the date. In 2017, when Khaidi 150 and GPSK fought for Pongal, they applied the same logic. Krish who announced the release date on January 12^th was stick on. But Ramcharan who produced Khaidi 150 announced on January 13^th and movie released on January 11^th two days before the earlier date. Obviously! Collections at BO were getting advantage for releasing the movie one day before. Reportedly, Trivikram Srinivas is not willing to release on January 10^th which he faced disaster flop of Agjathavasi in 2018. It seems this is the business strategy for Mega Camp every time.
