US President Joe Biden has warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that any aggression against Ukraine could lead to weapons and sanctions. Will Putin infiltrate Ukraine and prepare for a major war in defiance of US warnings? A Russian political analyst has commented that even Putin has no answer to those questions. The Ukraine conflict has been hot for a long time. Deployment on both sides is huge. If hundreds of thousands of Russian troops were on the Ukrainian border, the U.S. would have moved large-scale warships and fighter jets. To withdraw his diplomatic staff, The Government of India is also issuing directive warnings to its embassy staff from time to time as there are more Indian students.
Russia wants Ukraine, which was torn apart by the breakup of the Soviet Union, to remain its own and it's own forever. Ukraine, strategically separated from many key defense industries, missile manufacturing systems, and mineral wealth, is strategically key to Russia. Putin believes that Russia will be stronger if it is on its own. Nearly one-fifth of Ukraine's population is Russian. Its eastern region is historically and culturally close to Russia. On this basis, Russia is trying to provoke an uprising against the Ukrainian rulers. Putin invaded Crimea in 2014 when the people revolted against the pro-Russian Ukrainian president and overthrew him. Since then the distance between the two has grown even more. Ukraine is close to NATO and has entered into a security agreement with it. Ukraine has always been plagued by Russian operations and military assassinations in its border areas.
Even at the beginning of last year, it was clear that Russia had gone to the brink of a NATO war. Russia's attempt to annex Ukraine has been going on for decades. Ukraine, however, wants to walk with NATO and join. Russia is asking for a specific guarantee that Ukraine will not join NATO and that there will be no threat to its interests in the region. NATO, which has been unable to contain Putin's aggression over Crimea, is no longer in a position to stare at Ukraine. NATO is actively repositioning it’s military to counter the Russian threat. Minor friction between the two sides will have an impact on Russian energy supplies. Natural disasters include NATO sanctions on Russia, Russia's suspension of gas supplies to Europe, and rising international oil prices.
