Does Third Wave is inevitable in India?

It seems like that. There is a massive increase in the number of cases across the Indian states. It is clear that the Covid-19 Third Wave has begun in the country as a whole. The situation has been detected in advance and the central government has already been alerted. The states are stepping up more sanctions. In Delhi, 187 samples were recently genetically tested and 152 (81%) samples were found to be omicron. Delhi received 4,099 cases on Monday, the highest in seven and a half months. The positive rate reached 6.46. In Mumbai, over 8,000 positives were registered on the second day. Omicron is blamed for over 75% of cases in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The statistics are shown as a third wave signal. The Third Wave will continue until April.

IIT Kanpur expressed concern that coming election rallies were in danger of becoming super-spreaders. It also said that the third wave would come between January and March and the possibility of getting 1.80 lakh cases per day. ‘Yellow Alert’ is in effect in the capital city. Chief Minister Kejriwal has been infected with a coronavirus positive. A ‘Red Alert’ is issued if the positivity is above 5 for two consecutive days. If this happens, a full curfew will be imposed and businesses will be closed. New Year celebrations in Goa lead to the corona outbreak. There were 12,000 cases in Maharashtra, 6,000 in Bengal, and 4,000 in Delhi. It is found in Gujarat (1,259) as well as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. In Mumbai, direct classes for the 1st to 9th class and 11th class have been discontinued.

The Union Health Ministry has denied reports that expired Covid-19 vaccines are being used in the country. In October, India's biotech requested that Covaxin increase the use limit from 9 to 12 months. The Election Commission has suggested speeding up the distribution of vaccines in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur, and Punjab, where elections are to be held. The Center has made it clear that the census will not take place in the country at present in the wake of Third Wave concerns. It clarified to the states that the boundaries of the districts and the scope of other civilian and police units had not been changed until June.
