DGP to attend High Court on March 12!


It is an open secret that police worked for the government and as per the wishes of ruling party leaders in any state. No wonder if Police arrested opposition leaders and cadre in the state. In Andhra Pradesh, police administration has silent in enduring their responsibilities since YSRCP came into power. 
As opposition blames that Police are filing cases on party cadre and silent on TDP cases against YSRCP doesn’t matter to the people. Police received first time bad reputation in controlling the Amaravati agitation. Police took the lathi-charge on farmers and women in CRDA villages. Police brutalities reached to peaks when Amaravati JAC called for Chalo Assembly. They don’t care even TDP MP Galla Jayadev in that agitation.

Arrest of Chandrababu Naidu in Vizag Airport leave Police many doubts among the people. TDP applied for CBN tour for Vizag and police gave permission with number of conditions. The same police stopped CBN and sent back to Hyderabad from Vizag Airport has surprised many. How Police allowed number of YSRCP cadre into Airport? How YSRCP cadre took eggs and tomatoes with them into airport? Haven’t they checked properly at Airport? Why Police haven’t filed and arrest YSRCP people who attacked CBN? TDP leaders filed petition in High Court on Vizag incident with videos and photos. High Court lashes AP Police and asked the above questions to police and didn’t convince with counters of DGP and Vizag Commissioner.

High Court today ordered AP DGP to appear in court in person and gave his explanation on March 12th. How Police arrest CBN with Section 151 CRPC Act? DGP Gowtham Sawang should explain the police action as per court requirement. No police want to face the situation like this. Police arrested YSRCP leaders after court directions in Vizag incident. TDP has planned to resume CBN visit within a week. Police would take all necessary steps for the visit of CBN by providing proper security.

Please check the photo. It was in 1994 after TDP regains power in AP. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Subba Reddy (father of Shobha Nagi Reddy) were met NTR along with their families. Bhuma Nagi Reddy was elected first time to Assembly as TDP candidate from Allagadda in 1992 bye-election. Again he was elected as MLA from same constituency in 1994 as TDP candidate.
