Why local body elections postponed in AP?

Nominations for Municipalities and screening & withdrawing of nominations for MPTC/ZPTC process have completed yesterday in AP. Dailies published district-wise unanimous elected parties across the state.
On other side, TDP filed series of complaints to EC and police on various irregularities during local body elections in the state. AP Election Commission has decided to postponement all elections by six weeks which shocked to YSRCP leaders. Ramesh Kumar took action by suspend Chittoor and Guntur district collectors and suspended Macharla, Punganur, Palamaneru and Tadipatri CIs.

After that many changes developed in Amaravati. Frustrated YS Jagan met Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan and made complaint against Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for postponing local body elections. Jagan’s movement surprised many politicians including YSRCP leaders. Jagan is unstoppable on this and addressed press conference to target Ramesh Kumar. During his press conference, Jagan questioned Election Commission powers.

It’s unfortunate that Jagan doesn’t know administration control by election commission once election schedule announced. Jagan has continued to target CBN community with linked Ramesh Kumar appointment. Ramesh Kumar worked as Finance Secretary when YSR was CM. He also worked as Secretary under former governor ESL Narasimhan for 7 years. Everyone knows both YSR and Narasimhan enmity with CBN. Reportedly, Ramesh Kumar was appointed as election officer on recommendations of Narasimhan. It seems that most of his career Ramesh worked under CBN opponents. As per current political scenario, no IPS/IAS officer dared to go against Jagan’s wishes. It is suspecting something is happened behind the sudden postponement of elections in AP.
