Cuba is the strong and silent savior in the world of medical science and services. Latin American island country have begun giving covid vaccines for children as young as two years. The Communist-run Caribbean island is currently vaccinating its population at one of the fastest rates in the world with local drugs Abdala, Soberana02 and Soberana Plus. Almost 40 percent of the Cuban population is vaccinated with the complete scheme of the two vaccines Abdala and Soberana02. It is the first nation in the world to vaccinate children using home-grown jabs not recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The government will seek World Health Organization (WHO) approval of three Covid-19 vaccines, even as it begins administering shots en masse to toddlers. As part of the anti-COVID19 child vaccination campaign being carried out in the Cuba Flag of Cuba, more than 460,000 children and adolescents have already been vaccinated in the country with homegrown vaccines. The vaccination campaign to administer the vaccine to the people will be completed 90% by the end of November. When every developed nation like the U.S., UK and EU is trying to get vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca for their people, Cuba is relying on home-made vaccines. Cuba is the only country in all Latin America to produce its own vaccines.
Cuba has developed a vaccine for toddlers. The country's 11.2 million population had 737,618 cases and 6,219 deaths due to coronavirus pandemic. A total of 15,242,020 doses of Cuban-made Covid19 vaccines have already been administered in the country, the Health Ministry reported. What made Cuba produce its own developed vaccines? Cuba has been facing global sanctions for many years that left communist nation isolated from the world. That made the country develop its own vaccines instead of joining the vaccine race like other nations before WHO. Reportedly, Cuba has donated 10 million jabs of homegrown vaccines to Vietnam.
