Contrast opinions on Lockdown

Two Telugu state governments follow two different paths on continuing lockdown in Telanagana and Andhra Pradesh. 503 number of cases recorded in Telangana whereas 405 cases recorded in AP.
Two states listed in top 7 of the Indian states. Chief Ministers have expressed their opinion on extension of lockdown after April 14th in discussion with Prime Minister Modi through video conference yesterday. Most of the State Chief Ministers have with similar opinion and wants to extend lockdown till the end of April including Telanagana Chief Minister KCR. But his AP counterpart YS Jagan has contrast to Telangana CM. Andhra Pradesh CM also says he would pay heed to the centre’s advice on the issue.

AP has been imposed to contain covid-19 pandemic, should only continue in the ‘red zone’ clusters that have been identified in the state. He supports Indian Government's steps to control Covid-19 on one side and worries on economic situation in the state. On a whole, Jagan agree with lockdown but it should be limited to red zones in AP. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said tough steps are needed to ensure that Telangana is protected. KCR said that Telangana cabinet passed the resolution and send to Union Government on lockdown in the state. KCR is firm to control the pandemic in Telangana and not ready to take any chance.

TDP blamed that Jagan showed wrong numbers before Prime Minister Modi during the conference. In AP, there are 7 districts where more than 20 Covid-19 cases reported in AP but YS Jagan said that only 2 districts crossed 20 above cases in AP. Jagan wants to implement his hidden agenda as soon as possible. His plan of action starts by removing Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar with ordinance. YSRCP leaders know that ordinance can't legally justified before courts. Jagan wants to complete the local body elections quickly and shifted the capital to Vizag. He gave least preference to Coronavirus.
