Yes! The date has lot of importance to Telugu Film Industry. The first commercial hit of Telugu Film Industry ‘Adavi Ramudu’ was released on April 28th, 1977. The movie creates sensation at Box-Office and erupt collection Tsunami at that time. 
Adavi Ramudu collections are land mark to other films till now. This was the first Southern movie cross 1 crore mark in collections. The movie gave life many technicians and artists. NTR’s image was completely changed after Adavi Ramudu. Jaya Prada and Jaya Sudha became star heroine status with Adavi Ramudu.

Raghavendra Rao got image of mass and star director status after Adavi Ramudu. Jandhyala and Veturi got fame as writer and lyricist with Adavi Ramudu. Kodandarami Reddy and B. Gopal worked as Asst. Directors becomes Star Directors with Adavi Ramudu. The movie helped as launching pad for many. Sentiments are common for producers and directors in Film Industry. Producers prefer to release their film if April 28th falls on Thursday or Friday.

The comedian turned hero Ali became Hero with Yama Leela. Director Krishna Reddy made Ali as hero with Yama Leela which was released on April 28th, 1994. The movie turns to be super hit. Puri Jagannath gets first Industry Hit in 2006 with Pokiri though he made his debut as director in 2000. Pokiri was released on April 28th, 2006 and turned to be sensational super hit in Telugu Film Industry. Other star hero films were compared with Pokiri in collections for many years. Mahesh Babu success graph drastically moved upwards after Pokiri and Ileana becomes star Heroine after Pokiri.

We all know the result of Rajamouli’s Bahubali – The Conclusion. The film creates ripples not only in India but also in entire world. Everyone is trying to reach the second position after Bahubali – The Conclusion. Bahubali was released on April 28th, 2017. Prabhas turned to overnight Hollywood Hero image after Bahubali. After seeing the result of these films, producers are very much interest to release their films on April 28th.

Rare Collection : Bhuma Nagi Reddy with Sr. NTR

Please check the photo. It was in 1994 after TDP regains power in AP. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Subba Reddy (father of Shobha Nagi Reddy) were met NTR along with their families. Bhuma Nagi Reddy was elected first time to Assembly as TDP candidate from Allagadda in 1992 bye-election. Again he was elected as MLA from same constituency in 1994 as TDP candidate. In 1991, late NTR decided not to field TDP nominee opposite first Telugu Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. In 1996, Chandra Babu Naidu (NTR was died) was selected Bhuma against them Prime Minister PV in Nandhyala. In 1991, PV majority was more than 5 lakhs but in 1996 his massive majority comes down below one lakh. It can only possible to Bhuma. PV retained Barampur in Orissa and resigned for Nandhyala.
