Modi and Didi Corona Politics

Union Government has planned to review the situation during the lockdown in some states. The Centre has said the COVID-19 situation is "especially serious" in Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata and a few other places in West Bengal, and warned that violation of lockdown measures may facilitate the spread of the novel coronavirus further.
All these cities come under Non-BJP ruling states. It seems to the opposition that BJP is trying to corner them in the name of violation of lockdown guidelines.

Union Government has warned that violation of lockdown measures may facilitate the spread of the novel coronavirus further. Union Government sent two Inter-Ministerial Central Teams (IMCT) to the states on reviewing the situation. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee hits out at Modi by writing the letter.  While one central team arrived here on Monday, another reached Jalpaiguri district. She said the selection of districts and the observations were made unilaterally and it was nothing but a figment of imagination and unfortunate.

The IMCT has reached to the targeted cities to review the situation. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee protested against the Centre’s move to send inter-ministerial teams into the state to look into violations of lockdown measures that were announced to curb the spread of the covid-19 pandemic. She out rightly said to Union government not to send IMCTs to West Bengal. It’s very sad that political parties vying each other amid of coronavirus outbreak.
