In AP Political history, former Chief Minister Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy was resigned after getting negative verdict from High Court on nationalization of bus services.
This is not first time for YS Jagan’s government. Since his 10-month rule all key policy decisions caught in legal hurdles. If Jagan follow the path of above leaders he quits within 2 months on PPAs verdict given by State High Court. Not one or two Jagan government received shocks from High Court for more than 50 times. The ordinance tinkering with the tenure of the State Election Commissioner (SEC) remains a grim pointer challenged in High Court by State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar.
His abrupt dismissal also resulted in three public interest litigations from different quarters being filed in the high court. Jagan has many advisors to give suggestions on policy issues. Series of setbacks in High Court throws many questions on their ability. Both the Supreme Court and the High Court had passed over 50 orders on various decisions taken by the Jagan government in the 10 months it has been in power. Though he won with massive majority in general elections, Jagan should know the limitations of any elected government.
