We all know the most wanted terrorists in the world are in the Taliban government-led Afghanistan ministry. After seizing the power in Afghanistan, the Taliban has continued violent methods in controlling the women's agitation. Meanwhile, New Delhi has received a letter from Kabul which is the first official communication from the Taliban. The template and language are interesting in the letter and the content is in fluent English with all conventions and formalities. The letter on the letterhead contains the name of “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”.
The
Taliban asked India to resume commercial flights to Kabul in the letter. The letter
was written by Afghanistan’s Acting Minister for Civil Aviation and Transport
Alhaj Hamidullah Akhundzada. India’s last operated commercial flight to Kabul
was on August 15th which is the day that Afghanistan's capital fell
to the Taliban. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India (DGCA) was
closed for commercial flights till September 5, when domestic flights were
resumed. The Civil Aviation of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan avails its
highest assurance to the passengers in the letter which was written on
September 07th. Even after three weeks, the Indian aviation
regulator has not responded yet to the Taliban.
On the other hand, China and Pakistan are continuing to give their assistance to the Taliban government. Karachi has sending diplomats to Kabul whereas Beijing gave assistance to Kabul on humanitarian grounds. Afghanistan has received $31 million of aid from China which was the first financial assistance to Afghanistan from any other nation in the world. China has intentionally moving closely with the Taliban to irritate the United States of America. It seems that the Taliban released a letter that warns the United States against flying drones in Afghanistan space. China has recognized the sovereignty of the Taliban and asked the US to do so. It is surprising to hear sovereignty when Beijing PLA jets fly on Taiwan space.
