After the completion of Afghanistan crisis, Asian continent is fear of another inevitable war between Taiwan and China.President Xi Jinping said reunification with Taiwan "must happen" after state media warned that World War III could happen "at any moment.Tiny Taiwan reacted to Xi statement of reunification by display of it's weapons. Taiwan rolled out its weapons of war in a rare National Day display meant to be a show of defiance against provocations from China. Taiwan President Tsai said that Taiwan will not bow to pressure from China when she addressed the nation on Taiwan National Day. Taiwan responded to Xi by calling on Beijing to abandon its coercion, reiterating that only Taiwan's people could decide their future.
Taipei has fallen under immense pressure politically from Beijing to accept it's sovereignty but Taiwan has pledged to defend it's freedom. Taiwan has been self-ruled for decades, but China still claims sovereignty over the island. But as per the latest reports China's PLA has carried out beach landing exercises on the coastline of Fujian province. China demanded that US forces must withdraw from Taiwan. China blamed the US for secretly training Taiwanese forces for one year. Since the eruption of the pandemic virus, the relations between China and the US have become severe. Taiwanese issue added fuel to fire between Washington and Beijing.
PLA has carried out four day operations to test combat readiness, evacuation, concealment, assembly and tactical coordination. PLA conducted drills come after the completing Taiwanese National Day on October 10th. China's aggressive stand over Taiwan has led to international issues. Taiwan has suspected that China deployed about 150 aircraft into its air defense identification zone. Political analysts remembered Beijing's actions as the most serious provocation in the last 40 years. Taiwan is taking a critical decision to upgrade it's armed forces to counter China. Taiwan government has decided to spend $16.89 billion for the next fiscal year. Taipei believes that Beijing's military could paralyse the island's defences.
