Europe enters into sanctions again!!

European countries are vulnerable to the blow of the Omicron variant. There are fears that the virus could increase in severity as people make more trips during Christmas. With this, sanctions are coming again. The situation is particularly alarming in the United Kingdom (UK). The new variant has spread across the country. Seven deaths in the world with Omicron so far have been reported in Britain alone. More than 90,000 cases a day were received in the country, with 60 percent being Omicron. Eighty percent of the latest cases in the city are related to Omicron. Reportedly, over the 30 percent increase in the number of patients in hospitals compared to last week. 


Medical experts say that thousands of people are getting infected with the new variant. The government has warned that more than 3,000 people a day could be hospitalized if the lockdown is not imposed after Christmas. The lockdown is expected to be announced two weeks after Christmas or from January 1st. However, some in the UK are unhappy with the recent ban on wearing masks indoors and showing a Covid-19 negative certificate when going to nightclubs. They were all in London without masks, whistling and disrupting traffic. The lockdown was announced in the Netherlands with more than 15,000 cases coming in a day. This will continue until January 14th. It was stipulated that only four guests should be invited to the Christmas celebrations. 


The healthcare system in Germany is already under severe stress.  Germany predicts the fifth wave in the form of Omicron. Germany has brought in regulations that prevented anyone from coming to the UK except their own countrymen. Are German citizens vaccinated if they come from the UK? Or not? The government has made it clear that he will stay in quarantine for two weeks regardless. France has also canceled flights from the UK. Imposed a ban on firing fireworks during the new year. Museums, parks, and theaters are closed in Denmark. A curfew was imposed in Ireland from 8 p.m. Attendance at indoor and outdoor events is restricted. Although Covid-19 is serious in Spain too no decision has been taken yet.
