Omicron pushed the UK into the most horrible nation

The new variant Omicron is spreading rapidly at a rapid rate in the United Kingdom.  The UK government is claiming that Omicron will double every day. "400,000" cases today, up from "200,000" yesterday. Based on the above predictions, the UK will have 26 billion new cases on New Year's eve. This is enough to know how rapidly Omicron spread around the UK and other European nations. Though the virus erupted initially in South Africa, the UK is leading the world in confirmed Omicron cases. The UK is already recording a record number of Omicron cases and people are standing in long queues at vaccine centers across the nation. 

As of now, the UK is the worst affected country in the world for Delta and second-worst for Omicron. The government wants to complete adult vaccination by the end of the year. Hospitalization is climbing and one person has been confirmed to died with Omicron in the country. UK lawmakers voted to toughen coronavirus measures including introducing Covid-19 passes to enter into large venues and malls. Wearing masks will become mandatory because of the surge in cases in the UK. 94% of hospital beds are filled and 81% of critical care beds are already full when Omicron is in the initial stage in England. The government is doing a booster campaign and felt that two doses of the coronavirus vaccine are not sufficient to counter Omicron. France will block entry to UK tourists, tightening border restrictions in an effort to slow the Omicron coronavirus variant. France has slapped Britain with a travel ban of its own amid a surge in covid-19 infections. Soaring Omicron cases left British people scrambling to make alternative Christmas plans, faced with cancellations, long queues for vaccines, and France shutting the border to UK visitors. US President Joe Biden warned people in America of winter of “severe illness and death” among the unvaccinated as the country reports a surge in Covid-19 infections.
