Ajeya Kallam should answer on Bhogapuram contract

Ajeya Kallam is Principal Advisor to YSRCP government and worked as Chief Secretary when Chandrababu Naidu was Chief Minister.

Soon after he came to power, YS Jagan order to cancels all projects during CBN era including Bhogapuram. When CBN awarded Bhogapuram Airport contract to GMR, Ajeya Kallam called it as Big Scam. Now, the same person announced that AP government has decided to give contract to GMR.

He made an allegation that CBN ignored Airport Authority of India (AAI) and gave preference to GMR. He demands to give contract to PSU like AAI but not private company GMR. Then Now, AP government defended to give contract to GMR because GMR has more competence than AAI in building airports. Ajeya Kallam should give answer GMR is PSU or not. He was silent on Bhogapuram contract during the press conference.

It is surprising to see Ajeya Kallam welcomes agreement with GMR. He didn’t find any scam now and found scam when contract with GMR during CBN era. Was he dared to blame the contract as scam now? TDP govt gave 2700 acres of land to GMR. He is saying that government saved 1500 crores by giving 2200 acres of land to GMR. GOs regarding the agreements between AP Government and GMR are kept confidential. What is the necessity to keep the GOs? But the GO was not made public. It seemed that the government was bent upon destroying the project.
