Technically, those 18–22 years of age enter selective compulsory military service, with a 24-month service obligation. In India, it is not mandatory for the youth to join in military service and had personal opinion to leave the services as per one’s wish. But this is not in case of China.
What will happen when person quits PLA once after joining in
the service? The Chinese government makes your life as living hell. He/She has
subjected to award 8 different punishments after withdrawing from the services.
1.
Two year ban on travelling abroad and purchasing
real estate from taking long distance trains or buses. Ban on taking loans
insurance services all of this applies for a period of minimum two years.
2.
You will never get a Job as Civil Servant in
China. You will not recruit by government agencies even a temporary job for
life.
3.
You will be branded for life that’s a given your
military service status will forever be changed to “Rejection of Service”.
4.
You can’t go back to college and resume your
studies for two years. You will be forbidden from entering into college campus.
5.
Preferential treatment to be cancelled for
compulsory servicemen. Something you missed to get benefits for compulsory
servicemen.
6.
You will be fined for quitting from services. A
fine of 4K dollars plus reimbursement to the military worth three thousand
seven hundred and fifty dollars. This is the money that you need to pay for leaving
from PLA.
7.
You cannot start your own business not for two
years at least.
8. You will be publicly shamed for quitting PLA in Social Media. Your details were publicized in a way to reach to the people in China. Your details disclosed in Televisions, Newspapers and Social Media.
It’s very rare to hear that country fight against the citizens. There is no liberation from Chinese armed wing People’s Liberation Army (PLA) if anyone quit middle of the training.
