Pulla Rao complaint irritates BJP and YSRCP leaders

The Department of Water Resources responded to the complaint of the Sociologist Pentapati Pullarao on Polavaram kickbacks during CBN era. The Union Power Ministry has made it clear that there is no basis for corruption in the Polavaram project. 

It concluded that there was no need for an investigation into allegations of corruption in the project. There are no issues on reply from Department of Water Resources. Here the interesting point is Pulla Rao mentioned Modi allegations against CBN during the election campaign. Pullarao was contested from Eluru Parliament as Jena Sena Nominee and lost the election.

People know that YSRCP leaders blame CBN used Polavaram project as ATM for his personal interests. The same allegations made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi also during the election campaign. Modi blamed CBN used Polavaram as ATM. Pullarao mentioned PM allegations as complaint to Irrigation and Power Ministry. Department also said that the Prime Minister nowhere asked to investigate on Polavaram development works during TDP era.

After the YSRCP government came to power, a committee was headed by a YS Jagan cousin named Raymond Peter on Polavaram and Amaravati kickbacks. The report said corruption had taken place. As per buzz, Jaganmohan Reddy took the report to the Department of Hydro Power and the Prime Minister's Office. But Department of Hydro Power asked AP Government to provide proofs for the corruption in Polavaram. AP Government said the committee could not provide evidence of corruption. All the allegations on Polavaram made by BJP and YSRCP leaders proved to be baseless.  Pullarao complaint gave troublesome to AP BJP leaders than YSRCP. Finally his complaint gave clean-chit to TDP and pushed to irritation to BJP and YSRCP leaders.
